In the A2 course, we will complete the following things:
- a promotion package for the release of an album
- to include a music video promo
- a website homepage for the band
- a CD inlay for its release as part of a digipak.
I am especially excited to film the music video, this is because I will be able to use different creative ideas compared to our Thriller opening we did. I will be able to learn different camera settings as in the AS course we mostly filmed in the auto setting, this will result in me experimenting a lot. We will learn different aspects of media as we are studying music videos instead of film. I think it will be interesting to see this side of media.
I think pace is an important idea that I will need to focus on when creating the music video. This is because it is an important factor which will effect it all as it will need to fit the tempo of the music.
